The newly formed department of IT & Innovation took off under the leadership of Stefan Peters. The goal of his work is, according to Stefan Peters himself: “To use synergy effects of our corporate group to offer our clients the best solutions possible out of one hand.” To achieve this goal, Stefan Peters follows the vision to act hand in hand with every other department at R+S Group.
Stefan Peters was already able to prove himself as an absolute team player during the collaboration between R+S Stolze GmbH and his earlier employer. While his first days at our company were overshadowed by the social distancing measures due to the pandemic, Stefan Peter can already see projects and opportunities that just wait to be taken advantage of on the horizon.
Alongside his colleague Jan-Nicolas Kugler, Stefan Peters will work on a variety of projects in the field of IT-infrastructure, especially WLAN-LAN, Room Automation, CCTV, VoIP or many more. Those technologies are used in nearly all industry sectors. A collaboration of different departments can thus be not only sensible but profitable.
Stefan Peters started his career with an apprenticeship as an aviation mechanic and soon took on responsibilities as a project manager in both national and international environments. He expanded his knowledge by studying economics on the side and gained more than 20 years of work experience in an internationally oriented corporation.
His path led him from being a project manager in the field of “VIP and Executive Jet Maintenance” to taking care of the Saudi royal family, to running the department of Training Development and finally becoming the Associate Director for Maritime Solutions.
When Stefan Peters is not planning technological innovations or conducting awesome projects, he likes to spend some quality time with his family and friends. Since one of his hobbies is to cook/grill he can provide them with the most delicious food imaginable. As soon as traveling is possible again, his favourite destinations will be family holidays in the USA as well as enjoying some quiet time in the beautiful forests of Norway.
We at R+S Stolze GmbH are excited about the collaboration between new and established departments within our cooperation and wish Stefan Peters all the best for his new upcoming challenges.DPP Partner of the year 2021 – R+S Stolze awarded as “Best Newcomer” in the DACH Region by Hikvision
Partnership with Hikvision
Since 2020 R+S Stolze has been working together with Hikvision. As a specialist in the field of industrial camera technology as well as customer specific solutions in the field of security and automation technology they offer products that are perfect for many of our projects.
Because of this we were especially proud to have been awarded, “Best Newcomer 2021 in the DACH region” by Hikvision.
On March 17th, 2022, we here in Lübeck were visited by Henning Janßen, Key Account Manager for the German market at Hikvision. Here he presented us with the award which Dennis Goetsch, CEO of R+S Stolze GmbH, and Stefan Peters, who, as Head of IT and Innovation oversees many projects that involve Hikvision technology, were more than happy to accept on behalf of all our colleagues whose demanding work made this award possible.
“The solutions offered by Hikvision are innovative as well as of the highest quality and thus perfectly suited for ours as well as our customers standards.” says Stefan Peters.
“The partnership with Hikvision is mutually beneficial. We are happy to have entered this Partnership and hope that this award was only the first of many milestones for the future.” Dennis Goetsch.
Finally, R+S Stolze would like to thank Henning Janßen and all our employees whose hard work and dedication made this award possible.
On course together – R+S Stolze GmbH takes over the switchgear construction of Scholl Energy & Steuerungstechnik GmbH in Lübeck
Dear partners, dear customers,
With this letter we would like to inform you that Scholl Energy & Steuerungstechnik GmbH and R+S Stolze GmbH intend to take over the switchgear construction of Scholl Energy – Steuerungstechnik GmbH at our Lübeck location, with a transfer of operations (§ 613a BGB) to the integrate R+S Stolze GmbH. This is expected to take place on March 1st, 2022.
Stolze and Scholl have been working together successfully at their Lübeck site for many years. The Scholl employees have just as much know-how in the field of switch cabinets as the Stolze in Shipbuilding. Since both have often worked together successfully and more and more cooperation’s are pending, it only makes sense to merge the two group companies at the Lübeck location.
Existing structures remain completely intact and are being expanded. Therefore, nothing changes in the service that we deliver to you.
Dennis Goetsch will oversee the Joint Ship. Since 2018 he has already successfully managed R+S Stolze and is therefore the ideal Captain to unleash the synergies resulting from the merger of the two companies.
We will contact you separately regarding contractual matters arising from business relationships with Scholl Energy & Steuerungstechnik GmbH. New contracts should already be concluded with R+S Stolze GmbH.
For further inquiries, we are at your disposal.

Women in the trades
The trades are no longer the sole domain of men. A study done by the central association of the German crafts in 2021 shows that 18.3 percent of all artisanal apprenticeships in Germany are filled by women and the trend is pointing upwards. We at R+S Stolze GmbH go with times! To us it does not matter who you are but what you can do!
Since last year Yasmin Ospalsky has been apprenticing as an industrial electrician with us. Miss Ospalsky joined our company on 1th August 2021. Previously she successfully completed another apprenticeship as a dental assistant and worked in that field for over 3 years. Because Miss Ospalsky is from a family of craftsmen as a woman, she was never genuinely happy in that job and sought a change of professional scenery.
How did she get into the trades?
Her private environment always supported her interested and thus grew the technological understanding as well as the passion for crafting. Miss Ospalsky therefore made the decision to apply at the R+S Group.
Seeing that the trades in general and electronics are still considered a male domain by most people did not bother her.
“When I was younger, it might have been a problem for me but now not at all. It is all a question of self-confidence.” says Miss Ospalsky. She further suggested to invite female employees to present artisanal jobs to potential future apprentices to help overcome barriers in the minds of young women who are interested in the trades.
“Role models play a significant role in overcoming reservations. Especially if a young woman has just graduated from High School and is considering taking up an apprenticeship in the trades it may give her that final push to do it, when she sees another woman who has successfully gone down that path!” she explains.
What does a normal day as an Industrial Electrician look like?
Miss Ospalsky would like to be that role model in the future. After finishing her 2-year apprenticeship she intends to become a Master in the field of industrial electronics and pass the exam for the instructor qualification. Until then she spends her days at R+S Group working on switch cabinets.
Under the guidance of someone who has already successfully completed his/her apprenticeship, Miss Ospalsky learns how to equip these and how to lay cables inside them.
Christopher Spaller, in his capacity as Head of Production, is responsible for all apprentices. He praises the work of Yasmin Ospalsky: “I am very impressed with the structured, organized, and clean way Yasmin works. These attributes are no longer the norm today. This makes me incredibly happy that we took this step forward together with Yasmin.”
Apprenticing at R+S
Mr. Spaller too would like to encourage young women to consider an apprenticeship in the trades.
“When it comes to heavy physical labour, women are of course at a bit of a disadvantage. But when it comes to technological understanding and skill in crafting, they can compete with anybody else.”
Our appeal is thus: “Apply!” ▷ Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org | www.rs-ausbildung.de
R+S Stolze spares neither costs nor effort to create a proper and pleasant work environment.
R+S Flagship in Northern Germany- Year overview 2021 R+S Stolze GmbH
An eventful year 2021 lies behind R+S Stolze GmbH. Even in times of change during the current pandemic we were able to achieve internal improvements, bring long-term projects to a close and moving onto new paths, all thanks to the tireless dedication of our co-workers. This way R+S Stolze in Lübeck was able to set the course for a successful future last year.
Fit for the high sea thanks to Offshore Schoolings
In preparation for working on offshore platforms, a total of 10 of our co-workers – department heads and mechanics as well as colleagues from the engineering department – undertook an offshore security- and survival training.
Due to the close collaboration between the R+S Group subsidiaries Scholl and R+S Stolze here in Lübeck, colleagues from both companies fearlessly face the challenge together.
On the high seas there are special conditions due to weather and large distance to the coast. This can lead to several types of dangerous situations to working on land, which make special safety knowledge essential for all our colleagues working on such platforms.
During first aid training everyone could booster his or her knowledge, add emergency measures for urgent illnesses, massive injuries und health emergencies, such as the usage of a defibrillator on an offshore platform, to it. This enables every participant to be able to give each other CPR, even when an emergency doctor is many hours away.
The simulation of resounding helicopter noise in the darkness, boisterous wave and jumping into freezing water from a height of 10m created a framework that prepared our colleagues optimally for emergencies offshore. Additionally concrete scenarios such as “man overboard”, the correct way to lower yourself down a rope into a life raft, or the procedure of a high seas rescue were practiced under realistic circumstances.
Our colleagues showed great courage, unconditional operational readiness, and trust in their teammates during this training.
They are thus optimally prepared for any emergency, and put our company into a situation to be able to take any chances that might appear in the offshore market in the future.
Certificate: valuable – Recertification ISO 9001:2015
In August 2021, our processes and services were put to the test according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and successfully recertified by the DNV. With this recertification we were once again able to prove our ability to meet the highest quality standards, and sustainably.
A certified quality management system is increasingly important. On the one hand, it helps the company move forward and on the other hand it is a requirement for existing and potential new customers. Because of this, a successful certification is a relevant reference in national as well as international sales.
Since we were able to pass the recertification with a perfect score, we now meet the requirements for the quality management system as a systems supplier for maritime electronics.
The quality management commissioner Doreen Krienke would like to thank the entire Team a R+S Stolze GmbH, and especially all those who participated in the process for their excellent preparation and collaboration.
“We are immensely proud of the result of the recertification audit and want to continue to uphold the expectations of our customers as a team. A quality management system lived by every colleague is the right way. Because of this I look forward to future collaboration with the entire Team at R+S Stolze GmbH and would like to thank everyone for the great support”.
Traveling through Europe: River cruise ships in serial production
At the beginning of the year, we completed two of now more than 60 river cruise ship projects for a long-time customer in Rostock.
Ever since 2010 we have been supplying this river cruise ships, who travel rivers across Europe, with electronics and maintenance on the spot.
The key feature of these projects is that we take exceptional care to meet the unique requirements in the river cruise market. Within this framework, our engineering department, and our operational forces on site, equip the ships with technological sophistication and an eye for detail according to the wishes of international guests.
To enable our partner to provide safe opportunities for tourism, even during the current pandemic, we now equip every ship with thermal imagers.
These serve as an early warning system for guests that may have a fever due to an infection with the corona virus and thus protects the crew as well as other guests.
Rostock will continue to be an important branch, from where colleagues will support our customers.
In the direct sphere of influence of the northern German shipbuilding market, our colleagues developed an independent coordination branch. This was possible thanks to our team in Rostock and will serve as base of operations for our logistical processes as well as help us establish the Stolze brand in the coastal area of the Baltic Sea in the future.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all our colleagues and especially those that directly took part in the projects.
The continuous commitment of our colleagues goes far beyond the usual level and together with the mutual appreciation, will continue to succeed as a company. Globally as well as locally here in Lübeck.
Our course for 2022? “On to new shores with a great crew on board!”Lübecks tradition – modernized by R+S Stolze!
The Passat belongs to Lübeck like Marzipan or the Holstentor. Ever since 1958 the 4 mast ship has been the property of the City of Lübeck. She has since become one of the last 4 P-liners in the world! Ankered in Priwall Harbour she is now a museum as well as an event location. This makes R+S Stolze very proud to have been able to outfit this historic landmark of our city with a new gangway. We came into contact with the city government back in July 2021 and were able to secure the contract for a new gangway worth 20.000 €.
The two apprentices Yasmin Ospalski and Jan Schirrmann have spent the last few weeks working on installing the lighting on the new gangway.
Day and night you can see the 600 kilogram construction, made up of aluminium and stainless steel, shine and light up Travemündes promenade. The floor is comprised of an 8 meter 4401 Duplex steel plate which offers both non-slip resistance and protection from rust.
December 14th we were able to show the final results of our work to local public officials. We were able to welcome Joachim Friedemann (Director of Schooling and Sport with the city government) and the Senator for Culture, Monika Frank (SPD). Together with our CEO, Dennis Götsch, and accompanied by two local journalists they were able to take a look at the results of our 6 months project. Our two apprentices proudly answered any questions about their work.
R+S Stolze would like to give sincere thanks we hope to be able to continue the collaboration in the future.3D learning – Colleagues in Lübeck receive instrunctions in Matterport
November 11th and 12th a seminar regarding the software Matterport took place in Lübeck. Thanks to the organisation of Siegfried Plickert and Sebastian Berg we came into contact with Noah de Groot of Nemarex through a foreign collaboration with a long term client and partner. Mr. de Groot instructed 7 colleagues in how to use the popular 3D-Scan software.
What is Matterport and what can it do?
Matterport is a software, which makes the previously very complex technology of 3D-Scanning accessible to common mobile devices.
Instead of expensive equipment and hard to gain Know-how in specific software, you now simply need a tablet or even just a smartphone to create compelling virtual 3D-Tours of large areas.
Where is Matterport commonly used?
The areas of usage for Matterport are thus quite divers. While the software has previously been used largely in the Real Estate Sector, the company has since expanded their customer base significantly. In addition to gastronomy and retailers, Matterport is now being used by insurers as well. Of particular interest to us are of course the technological applications. We can find examples for this in architecture as well as engineering.
How can we use Matterport?
This of course begs the question of how exactly Matterport can be implemented into the processes of R+S Stolze. The colleagues who to part in the seminar, agree that Matterport has a lot of potential for usage at R+S Stolze. Especially the work on construction sites can be made a lot easier. Using the new method for scanning, we can document projects more easily , for example by using it to digitally measure cable routes, cabinets and similar objects. Daniel Soyeaux evaluates the potential as follows: “Due to the easy operation and the good transportability of the camera we can save a lot of resources. Sebastian Berg additionally sees in the application of Matterport with regards to CAD construction. “Matterport offers many interesting add-ons who serve as an interface to CAD-programs.” he elaborates further. Siegfried Plickert especially likes the easy compatibility with DSGVO-Guidelines: “If you scan an area that contains sensitive information, it just takes 2 klicks on your tablet, to blurr it out.”
